Roasted Red Pepper and Vine Recipe
This delicious roasted red pepper and vine recipe is perfect as an appetizer or a flavorful addition to your meals. The combination of smoky roasted peppers with fresh vine flavors creates a delightful dish that’s easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 4 large red bell peppers
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Step 2: Place the red bell peppers on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred and blistered.
Step 3: Once roasted, remove the peppers from the oven and cover them with aluminum foil to steam for about 10 minutes. This will help loosen the skins.
Step 4: After steaming, peel the charred skin off the peppers and remove the seeds. Slice the peppers into strips.
Step 5: In a bowl, combine the roasted red pepper strips, olive oil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Step 6: Let the mixture sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 7: Serve the roasted red peppers on a platter, garnished with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy it as a topping for bruschetta, in salads, or as a side dish.
Bon appétit!
